How to Disinfect Hepatitis Patients’ Tableware?

1. Boiled Disinfection: Put clean cooking utensils, tableware, drinking pot into pan with water, and then boiling water to a certain degree would kill most of bacterial. If there are patients, it is better to boil water for ten minutes. If the patients are infectious (hepatitis A), tableware disinfection should be done respectively. the tableware that patients used should be boiled for 20-30 minutes after water boiling.

2. Steam Sterilization: Add steamer in pan and boil water in pan, the steam from water can disinfect, in this way, it is effective only when the water is boiling for ten minutes.

3. Sterilizing Cabinet: Put plates into sterilizing cabinet, turn on the button, disinfect according to instructions, cool after a certain time.

4. Dishwasher Disinfection: Dishwasher is a machine for both cleaning and disinfecting. Water temperature of cleaning and disinfection should generally be maintained at about 85 ℃, washing disinfection 40 seconds.

5. Chlorine Dioxide Disinfectant Disinfection: Prepare disinfectant in to water to a certain concentration according to using directions, and soak tableware into disinfectant liquid for 10-20 minutes.
